Hypertufa Workshop SOLD OUT
Saturday, September 7 @ 1 PM Finally, by popular demand, we are offering a hypertufa workshop! These rustic-looking containers appear to be made of heavy cement, but they are lightweight and perfect for planting succulents. Make one large container or two small containers. Projects can be taken home right away or can be left at Bella for a couple days. before unmolding. They will need an additional 2-3 weeks to cure and will be ready for planting next spring. Cost: $35 per person. Rain date will be the following day. |
Autumn Grapevine Wreath
Saturday, September 14 @ 10 am Welcome the new season and your guests with a 14” grapevine wreath adorned with autumnal colors and a pretty bow. There will be several leaves, flowers, and ribbons to choose from. All flowers and foliage are faux and all supplies are included. Cost: $45 |
Needle-felted Poppies
Sunday, September 15 @ 12 pm This project is for beginners or for those with some needle-felting experience. Artist Ginny DaValle will teach you how to create poppies using needle and wool. The project is unframed, but will fit in a 5 x 7 frame of your own. Registration fee: $20; a material fee of $15 is due the day of the class and payable to Ginny with cash or check. |
Vintage Shop Hop
Friday, October 4 & Saturday, October 5 10 am - 5 pm What's a Vintage Shop Hop? It's the 'girlfriend' road trip of the year, and you're going to love it! Twice a year, the Vintage Shop Hop gathers 400+ vintage shops, boutiques, and home decor shops in Illinois & Wisconsin. There's a master list and an interactive map to help plan your day. The shop owners roll out the red carpet for you on Friday & Saturday, October 4 & 5. Each shop offers specials inside their shop. Here at Bella, we will have 'draw your discount' of 15%-25% off one item, fall sips and snacks, and a mini succulent pumpkin make & take bar. So grab a friend, hit the road, and see you at Bella! |
Wet-felted Pumpkins
Saturday, October 5 @ 10-11:30 am Learn the basics of wet felting wool fibers in this fun and easy class! Each participant will get to make at least 3 mini pumpkins to use in their fall décor or to incorporate into another project. (These pumpkins would be so cute on an autumnal wreath.) No experience is needed. All materials are provided. Instructor: Tiffany Knopow Registration Fee: $25 Material fee of $10 is due the day of the class. |
Framed Dried Botanicals
Saturday, October 12 @ 10 am Create a one-of-a-kind work of art with dried botanicals set in an 8x10 frame natural frame. Choose from a variety of dried grasses, flowers, seed heads, and leaves. Cost: $28 |
Afternoon Literary Tea: Little Women
Sunday, October 13 @ 4 pm If you love books and tea, this is for you! The book that we'll focus on at this afternoon tea is Little Women by American novelist, Louisa May Alcott. There will be three courses of delicacies by Baked Box served with the tea, a discussion on the ritual of tea, a background on the author, and table discussions of the book. Each guest will take home a special remembrance of the event. NOTE: The tea is limited to 16 guests, so we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible. Please bring your own teacup. Doors open at 3:45 pm. Cost: $35/person |
